As John Cena prepares to win his record-tying 16th WWE World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday, let’s rewind to almost a decade ago when Cena was once again the challenger heading into SummerSlam.
His rivalry with Edge elevated both WWE Superstars to legendary status, and their 2006 main event delivered big-time. While the match was good, the buildup was more memorable as Edge and Lita invaded the home of John Cena, Sr.
